New York
The American Museum of Natural History in New York. Hard to believe I have never been to this museum. Each time I go to NY I try to hit at least one museum, but there are so many to see I just need to go more often. Not to mention that you really can’t take in the whole place in one visit. Of course the highlight of this museum is the dinosaur exhibit. Lots of rooms full of the bones of these majestic creatures. Other parts of the museum are very old school, exhibits that look like they haven’t been updated since the 60s, lots of taxidermy and staged scenes behind glass.
If you go remember the admission is a “suggested donation” of $20, so if you are short on cash, which happens pretty quick in NYC, you can pay $5 or $10 or whatever.
